Capacity Building Coordinator (posted 09/04/2025)


Job Summary:
The Capacity Building Coordinator’s role is to work closely with Indigrow to support project delivery
while learning from the Consultant. The main goal of these interactions is for the Capacity Building
Coordinator to bring this knowledge in-house and teach other LWSWC staff and board members.
Ultimately, this will allow the organization to have the long-term capacity to maintain and continue
project results even after project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Learn from the consultant and then teach other LWSWC staff
a. Process mapping
b. RACI Matrix Development
c. Other topics relevant to project delivery
2) Support and then lead project activities
3) Support and then lead project management activities
4) Support and then lead reporting requirements
5) Track and report key metrics
6) Maintain the LWSWC website (Squarespace)
7) Other activities as needed

Required Qualifications:
1) Desire to learn and teach
2) Project Management experience
3) Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Google Drive)
4) Strong written and oral communication skills
5) Ability to work independently and in a team environment
6) Comfortable working in ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications:
1) Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or similar certification
2) Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or similar
3) Three to Five years’ experience in Non-Profit Sector
4) Experience with Squarespace, Canva, and LucidChart
5) Living in the Labrador West region


Other Details:
1) Pay: ~$68,835/Year (paid biweekly)
2) Contract is funded until March 31st, 2026
3) Thirteen Observed Paid Holidays Per Year
4) Three Days of Family Leave Per Year
5) 10 Vacation Days per Year (pro-rated versus start date)
6) 12 Wellness Days Per Year (pro-rated versus start date)
7) Remote or Hybrid offerings
